Well folks, it's a brand new year and I figure I may as well stop by and give y'all an update. So you're probably wondering where the heck I've been over the past few months.
Well I was recently introduced to a wonderful little sight called
deviantART. One of my old college buddies and fellow anime nerds introduced me to that site and we both got an account together. So I've basically been over there looking at other artists' work and making some fun little fancomics of shows I like. I hate to say it but I haven't had any inspiration to do an editorial cartoon, which is unusual since I have great fodder for one, but I guess my intrests have just changed. But don't panic I'm sure that I'll come up with something eventually, but until then I will be back as often as I can to Townhall to check out y'all's blogs and update mine when there's something politically cool or relevant to write about and post a cartoon now and then. Until then I'll be busy drawing little fancomics. Feel free to check
deviantART out for yourself, but I will warn you that it does contain alot of wierd and somewhat vulgar stuff that people consider "art" but they have some really talented photographers on that sight. (Thought you might like to hear that BrianR.)
While we're on the subject I have come to an executive decision,
I will no longer be posting episodes of Death Note on this blog. I don't think there's a lot of intrest in it among my viewers but for those of you that are interested I will post a link to a Website that has all the episodes on it if you wish to continue watching it. The episodes are in their original Japanese language with English subtitles but if you want episodes dubbed in English just search on Youtube
.

OK, the press has been talking about the inaguration of "President-Elect" Obama ad nauseum and I'm sure the rest of y'all are just about as sick of it as I am. OK it's cool that he's the first president of color and all, I'll say that much but people have been wishing that he succeed, but all know he's not! (At least not by conservative standards anyway.) I shudder to think at what this country will look like at the end of his term but I know I'm just gonna have to ride it out until it's over. His whole cabinet seems like the Clinton administration redux and that should cause us all to lose a little sleep.
I have picked a classic rock song to serve as the official theme of Inaguration Day and I know I'll be waking up to it tomorrow morning and for the next four years. These guys are gonna be in my area soon but I'm broke so I can't go to their concert! WHAAAA!!! Oh well, here it is:

Buckle up folks, cuz the "change" is coming.
